Perry Hill, St George with Christ Church and St Paul has two locations. Almost all the time, you will want to go to St George’s: however, especially from 2008 onwards, you may need to get to Christ Church.
| St George’s
The parish church (the old St George’s) is located in Vancouver Road, just opposite the end of Carholme Road if coming from the South Circular. All our main services are currently in this building. Buses that serve close by are the 181 and 202 in Catford Hill, 75 in Woolstone Road or the 185 and 171 on the South Circular (A205). Alternatively Catford and Catford Bridge train station are both just down the road. Click here to find out more about Disabled access. |
Christ Church
The Chancel church (the old Christ Church) is located at the corner of South Road and Church Rise (SE23 2UJ): you can see the steeple from Forest Hill railway station, which is just five minutes’ walk away. This is still under development but some services and events will take place here from 2008. Buses that serve close by are the 75 on Perry Vale or the 185 and 171 on the South Circular (A205). Forest Hill train station is five minutes’ walk away: you can see the church’s spire from the station. |
